Xtreme Signs & Graphics took delivery of the Veloblade Nexus 3032 this year

Xtreme Signs & Graphics has become the first company in Ireland to purchase a Veloblade Nexus 3032, taking delivery of the machine from Soyang Hardware, to expand its in-house cutting capabilities.

Active for more than 17 years, the Dublin-based company offers a full range of trade services including exhibition fabrics, dye-sublimation, and UV printing on various materials for indoor and outdoor use.

The large-format printing company’s evolution from its early beginnings in safety signage to large-format print has been supported by embracing new technology, which includes the Veloblade Nexus 3032 that was installed in late summer.

The large-format die cutter, by Vivid Laminating Technologies, offers a cutting area of 3000x3200mm, allowing users to work with stocks up to 25mm thick, including key materials such as Dibond, MDF and acrylic, alongside numerous fabrics, along with a top cutting speed of 1,500mm/s.

Roisin Hennessy, co-owner of Xtreme Signs & Graphics, said: “After reviewing multiple options, we partnered with Soyang and Vivid and selected the Veloblade Nexus as our next cutting solution investment.

“We’re already seeing the results we hoped for. The changes have not only increased our fabric production but have also helped our team to work more smoothly, confidently and investigate many more possibilities. It feels great to see our ideas turning into real progress.
