XP 640 ink station Roland DG expands ink compatibility for TrueVIS XP‑640

Roland DG has expanded its D‑EA2 inks

Roland DG has announced the expansion of its cost‑effective D‑EA2 multi‑colour eco‑solvent inks, which are now compatible with the TrueVIS XP‑640.

Launched initially for DGXPRESS printers in 2025, the D‑EA2 ink line has now been extended to support Roland DG’s TrueVIS XP-640.

To allow PSPs to match complex brand colours more easily, the extended line includes CMYK, including red, orange, green and light black.

Designed specifically for businesses producing brand‑critical graphics, the new D-EA2 configuration enables sharper colour reproduction, smoother gradients, and increased vibrancy.

The upgraded D‑EA2 inks deliver up to 40% savings compared to the TrueVIS TH inks, making advanced print performance more financially accessible.

By choosing Roland DG in, it preserves full OEM warranty coverage, ensuring long‑term reliability and stable device performance.

Ryugo Nimura, executive officer, Global Sales and Marketing Division, Roland DG, said: “By expanding D‑EA2 multi‑colour compatibility to our TrueVIS XP‑640, we’re making premium print quality more accessible than ever, especially for customers in emerging markets.

“This upgrade delivers the wider colour gamut and reliability customers expect from TrueVIS, while dramatically reducing running costs. It’s the perfect time for print providers to step up in quality, capability, and confidence.”
