Epson has announced the launch of the new SureColor SC-F20000, a new industrial dye-sublimation printer designed to help print service providers and sportswear producers.

The SC-F20000 is Epson’s first dye-sublimation model equipped with eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP print heads, developed to deliver stable output through its print head configuration.

The SC-F20000 is engineered with print modes of up to 306m sq/hr in fast setting and a resolution of 600x600dpi.

The printer also has large-capacity ink (10L) and Hot Swap capability, along with double-sided heating and drying and dust reduction mechanisms.

It has also been equipped with Epson Edge Print Pro software and Epson Precision Dot, integrating multi-layer halftone, LUT and Microweave, to support consistent output in multi-print head production.

Chris Davies, Commercial & Industrial printing division, Epson Europe, said: “FESPA is the ideal setting to show how Epson’s latest textile innovations translate into reliable, real-world production.

“With the SureColor SC-F20000, we’re giving high-volume producers a new pathway to combine speed, consistency and robust handling, supporting everything from high-quality sportswear, fashion, homewares to scalable textile production. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Hall 3, Stand C75 in Barcelona.”
