Newly retired, Tim Egerton sales manager for Soyang Europe

Soyang Europe has announced that sales manager Tim Egerton has retired.

During his 13-year tenure, Tim has played an integral role in the business’s evolution into a leading provider of high-quality media and hardware solutions.

Earlier this year, Tim was diagnosed with onset Parkinson’s and was advised by doctors to take time for himself and his family.

However, Tim soon took the opportunity to participate in ‘Ride the Trossachs’, a cycle event across the stunning Scottish Highlands, raising valuable funds for charity in the process.

Looking ahead to his retirement, Tim plans to take part in another cycling event next year, again in Scotland, as well as enjoy some much-earned rest and relaxation.

Tim said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Soyang Europe. I never imagined I would visit Soyang Technologies in China in the first year with the company.

“It was fascinating not only to see first-hand the manufacturing processes but also to meet my colleagues at Soyang Technologies.

“I would also like to thank all my colleagues at Soyang Europe and Soyang Technologies, as well as the numerous customers that have made this time so special.”

Mark Mashiter, CEO at Soyang Group, added: “Tim’s knowledge and professionalism have left a lasting mark on the business, and he will be greatly missed by colleagues both in the UK and China.

“Although we are obviously sad to see Tim depart, he leaves with our very best wishes. Tim is tremendously popular not only within the Soyang team but also with our customers. We very much hope Tim enjoys his much-deserved retirement!”

Soyang Europe has also recently conducted a charity drive and have recently grown their business in their Irish branch.
