Sign Trade Supplies has launched its aluminium signpost finials, now available as a stylish upsell to standard post and panel systems.

Long the domain of function-first signage, post and panel signs are getting a subtle but significant aesthetic upgrade. These new finials offer sign makers and their customers a chance to turn plain posts into something far more decorative, ideal for wayfinding systems in parks, schools, hotels, and public venues where first impressions matter.

Garrick Dartnell, head of marketing at Sign Trade Supplies, said: “Let’s face it, most post and panel signs are workhorses; they get the job done, but they’re rarely eye-catching.

“With these new finials, sign makers can offer clients a simple way to add a touch of design without changing the fundamentals of the system.”

Made from solid cast aluminium, the finials are built to last outdoors and are available in both black and white finishes as standard. For projects needing something more bespoke, custom powder-coat colours can be supplied to match branding or site aesthetics.

Designed with versatility in mind, the finials are available for 50mm round, 50mm square, 76mm round, and 76mm square posts, making them compatible with most common post sizes used in the UK signage industry. The new finials have been subtly designed with a classic and pleasing aesthetic, enhancing the overall appearance of the sign.
