National fleet livery and wrapping specialist, OPG, has doubled its operating capacity with the addition of new print and conversion equipment.

The Lanarkshire based firm purchased a new L3600 Latex printer from HP, and G3 Cutter from Zund, with the investment supported by funding from Scottish Enterprise.

Both have helped increase the company’s turnover by 40% in the last two years, and with an operating capacity of over half a million metres a year, the business has created a solid foundation for continued growth.

Allan Hamilton, managing director, said: “This investment marks a significant development of the business, doubling the operating capacity and reflecting the confidence we have in our growth plans.

“The addition of this new equipment sits alongside investment in new MIS and automation technology with everything being focused on providing excellent service and support to our customers.”

OPG has previously worked with Greggs, Warburtons, McDonalds, and Amazon, and continues to invest heavily in the business, and the wider print industry.

It also prints exclusively on HP latex platforms as the water-based technology aligns with the businesses focus on providing sustainable print practices.

By combining latex printing with fully recyclable materials, OPG is able to provide environmentally friendly vehicle livery solutions.
