Drytac’s Polar Frost Air has been used by Nettl at Digiprint Bath and Chippenham to produce a set of window graphics for a new pasta shop.

Pasta workshop Magari was looking to open a new location and required an image during store setup that complemented the upscale location of the store and attracted the attention of passersby.

Magari also said that the installation would remain in place for several months but should be easily removable once the shop opened for business.

As a long-time user of Drytac materials, Nettl at Digiprint suggested working with Polar Frost Air. The film features an embossed pearl finish and is coated with a clear permanent adhesive, protected by a two-sided PE coated release liner with bubble-free technology, making it ideal for decorative glass applications.

The company produced the pieces in-house, using its HP Latex 800W to print the applications, and its Vivid VeloBlade Nexus to pre-cut the sheets down to size ready for installation. The graphics were installed in January 2025 by the Nettl at Digiprint team.

Ben Gregory, director of Nettl at Digiprint, said: “We selected Polar Frost Air for the excellent ease of install, but also because it can be printed easily with our HP Latex printers. It was important that the view was obscured but still looked high quality with a classic feel.”

Such was the success of the project that Magari has already been back in touch with Nettl at Digiprint, placing orders for more applications ready for when the shop opens.
