As a printer that regularly invests in new equipment, MX Display has added HP Stitch S1000 to its line-up, so it can continue to meet high standards and retain valuable customers.

Adrian Rushton, managing director of MX Display, said: “We chose to work with HP Stitch technology because it offers the colour accuracy, efficiency, ease of use and reliability that are critical to our business, especially in producing soft signage and branded commercial environments.

“Having been early adopters of dye sublimation printing over a decade ago, we’re familiar with the benefits of this technology. The HP Stitch has fitted seamlessly into our workflow, delivering the vibrant, high-quality results our clients expect.”

MX Display has been using the HP Stitch device to produce work across a range of polyester-based materials including blockout, backlit, flag, and air-mesh fabrics. As the company prints onto transfer paper, this also gives it the flexibility to sublimate onto bespoke materials such as stretch fabrics, carpets, luxury velvets, and suede-type textiles, thus opening up an array of creative and custom branding opportunities for its customers.

Mr Rushton also said that the HP Stitch S1000 has had a positive impact on the company’s environmental targets, which has in turn extended the type of work it can produce. The machine runs water-based dye sublimation inks, which are Oeko-Tex certified, allowing MX Display to create applications for use in sensitive environments such as retail and hospitality.
