J&A International has enhanced its capabilities to produce wide-format printing thanks to the installation of a new VeloBlade Nexus.

The digital die-cutting system from Vivid Laminating Technologies has allowed the Spilsby-based company to run jobs unattended for extended periods, saving time and improving productivity.

The company needed a solution that would not only enhance its current capabilities but also enable it to introduce new services.

Improving output speed and meeting growing customer demand were key priorities, especially within their signage division and the production of its ‘Ultima’ removable industrial launder transfer range.

The company explored various options but took the plunge on Vivid’s machinery, which stood out for its high performance and speed.

James Fry, operations director at J&A International, said: “The Veloblade is a great bit of kit. It is reliable, and it does exactly what we need it to do.

He was also impressed by the supplier’s customer service. He continued: “Vivid have always been on hand to quickly fix any issues that we encounter, and they do so in a friendly and professional manner.

“It is very nice to deal with a company where you feel your business genuinely matters to them. I think that is something very rare to find nowadays.”

Since its installation, J&A International has launched a new product line, custom-cut signs, thanks to the router tool that allows precise cutting of signage materials.
