FASTSIGNS St Albans has announced it has relocated to a brand-new location, after its franchise owner described its business year its ‘most successful year yet’.

The Hertfordshire-based company has relocated its centre from Hearle Way, Hatfield, to the Sphere Industrial Estate, St Albans, bringing its visual communications services closer to the city’s tight-knit business community.

The relocation comes after last year the company saw a 30% growth in its turnover and the appointment of a graphics designer to its team.

Its previous premises was home to both FASTSIGNS St Albans and SIM Imaging, a producer of handmade photo products, both co-owned by managing director Lee Simpson.

Mr Simpson, combining the services of the two companies, enabled them to work for brands as big as Universal and McLaren.

Since selling SIM Imaging, Simpson has been able to set his sights on delivering an end-to-end service at FASTSIGNS.

The company’s new 3,100sq/ft home, just a stone’s throw from St Albans’ business community, will enable the team to streamline project delivery times and improve efficiencies, for clients across healthcare, construction, leisure and hospitality.

Mr Simpson said: “The growth we saw last year is a testament to the appetite for high-quality, visual communications. Our new home, closer to St Albans’ business community and larger to enable us to future-proof our operations, is designed to enable us to respond to that demand, even quicker than we did before.”

John Davies, FASTSIGNS UK managing director, added: “Lee and his team have consistently set the bar high for excellence, within our growing network. Lee is a fantastic example of a local entrepreneur, who truly understands the needs of his community and I’m confident this latest milestone will see them go on to have yet another impressive year.”
