Embrace has delivered a printed scaffold wrap for Westminster Tower

Embrace Building Wraps has announced it has delivered a printed scaffold wrap for Westminster Tower, a new high-end development on Albert Embankment, London.

The company transformed the site with a three sided, 485m/sq digitally printed on solid PVC wrap, masking the scaffolding while turning the structure into a premium marketing canvas.

With constant footfall crossing Lambeth Bridge, and thousands of passengers travelling the Thames each day, the developer London Square maximised the opportunity to showcase the scheme with a brown and gold design.

To ensure a seamless finish, the team at Embrace carried out multiple test prints to match two different substrates aligning the wrap with the printed ACP hoarding installed by others.

Given the exposed riverside location, the company also engineered additional rear supports to protect the wrap against strong winds coming off the Thames.

At project completion, the wrap will enter Embrace’s recycling programme, and it also funded the planting of 485 new trees in its global forest to match the square meterage installed.

Greg Forster, managing director for Embrace Building Wraps, said: “Another great example of how savvy clients see the benefits of using essential construction site structures as effective marketing tools that enhance the urban landscape.”
