The British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA), in partnership with the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS), has launched the new SICCS Commercial Signage Installer – Provisional card.

The digital-only card provides shopfitters and sign makers with safe, compliant site access while individuals work towards achieving a full qualification. It additionally supports professional development and facilitates the building of essential skills and confidence on site.

  • Card requirements: CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test at operative level (valid within three years).
  • Minimum qualification: RQF Level 1 / SCQF Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, or SCQF Level 5 REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Certificate.

The card provides a framework for collaboration across the signage and shopfitting communities, ensuring adherence to industry standards and supporting industry specific compliance.

By introducing this provisional card, the BSGA and NAS reaffirm their commitment to advancing best practice and developing skills across the sign making and shop fitting industries.
