Introducing The Sign Industry Awards

In a groundbreaking move set to elevate the sign industry to new heights, Datateam Business Media is thrilled to announce the launch of a prestigious awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating excellence within this vibrant sector.

This initiative follows Datateam's strategic acquisition of Sign & Digital UK last year, as well as the recent acquisition of Sign Update and Image Reports. These acquisitions mark a significant milestone in Datateam's mission to provide comprehensive market access and support to manufacturers and suppliers in the sign and visual communications industry.

The Sign Industry Awards will celebrate excellence in the visual communications sector, honouring past achievements, present innovations, and future advancements. Hosted by Sign Update and SDUK, the awards recognise outstanding suppliers, sign makers, and individual traders in sign making, digital printing and visual communications.

Who can enter?The Sign Industry Awards are open to all stakeholders within the sign and visual communications industry, including:

  • Sign Makers: Companies and individuals involved in the creation and installation of signs, ranging from small shops to large enterprises.
  • Suppliers: Manufacturers and distributors of materials, equipment, and technology used in sign making and digital printing.
  • Individual Traders: Freelancers and sole traders who contribute to the industry through their skills and craftsmanship.
  • Digital Printers: Businesses specialising in large format printing, offering innovative solutions and high-quality prints.
  • Designers: Creative professionals who design compelling visual communication materials, enhancing the impact of signs and digital prints.
  • Innovators: Any entity or individual who has introduced new technologies, methods, or products that push the boundaries of the industry.

The inaugural event will take place on the evening of day two of Sign & Digital UK on Monday, February 24.

Entries open next month with the shortlist announced towards the end of the year.
